EntreCard

You’ll see a new section over there on the right. I first heard about EntreCard from Alan, and thought it was a kind of interesting idea, but maybe not for me. Since then, I’ve been seeing references to it all over the Web.

Ok. I get the message.

I signed up this morning, and OMG. Wandering around following these links is seriously addictive!

So, welcome EntreCard people!

Welcome to Entrecard. Discovering new sites and dropping your card can be a bit addictive. Entrecard can also be a great way to meet and network with other bloggers. If you have any questions or need help, please don’t hesitate to give me a shout.

    Alan

Thanks, Alan! I’ve discovered at least a dozen new blogs to read, and spent lots and LOTS of time wandering today. I’m more than a little overwhelmed at this point, but when the questions start percolating (as I’m sure they will!), I’ll come looking for you. :)

Hi Aerten, thanks for approving my Entrecard ad request on your site.

Hope you enjoy your new experience with Entrecard community.

Welcome. You are now assimilated. :)

I create art cause I can’t draw. I started making ASCII art, then drew sketches to turn into ASCII art. Then I began drawing stick figures. That’s pretty much where I am now. People have said my stick figures are toons. I’m highly over rated if that’s the case. Keep making art.

  6. Aerten says:

    Laura,

Oh, drawing is over-rated. :) That doesn’t stop me from wanting to be able to do it, but in the meantime I’ll stick to abstract painting and making use of my huge collection of rubber stamps. I checked out some of your ASCII art, and it reminds me of the “good old days (?)” of line printers. Too bad I did save any of the ASCII art I did back then. LOL

EntreCard is horribly addictive — and a nice way to find new blogs, like yours.

Love your work, BTW. There’s a certain Flare piece that’s been speaking to me…

  8. Aerten says:

Haley… No kidding about EntreCard being addictive! I’m going to have to win the lottery so I quit my day job. It’s cutting into my blog reading! LOL

Thanks for the kind words… and for the support of a Living Artist! I hope Flare speaks as eloquently in person when it reaches you!

  9. Cindy says:

I’ve come across some really nice people and their blogs through entrecard, but it is addicting for sure.

  10. Lynne says:

I just signed up yesterday and I think I’m even more addicted to Entrecard than I am to blogging! :-D

  11. Aerten says:

    Cindy, Lynne… well, everyone…

Here’s how addicting: I stayed up until PAST MIDNIGHT last night! (I’m an early to bed, early to rise kind of gal… you know, one of those really annoying “morning people.”) So in addition to blogging and EntreCard, I’m now going to have to redevelop a serious addiction to caffeine. Oh, Alan, what have you done? LOL Love ya, man!

  12. Tam says:

    Welcome to entrecard aerten.

It’s robbed me of my mornings too.

  13. Aerten says:

Thanks, Tam! No more mornings, no more lunch breaks, no more evenings, no more sleep. ;)

Welcome to this wonderful find! In less than a month, I have made LOTS of new friends along the way and I’m sure you will too! Enjoy your stay! :)
