Try this on for size... (This assumes you're using version 2.3.3, with the visual editor disabled, so YMMV) On the "Write Post" page, under the box where you write the post, there's a section that says "upload". In the line that says "File:" click the browse button and select the file you want to use. the "Title" and "Description" boxes are optional. Click the "Upload" button and after the file is sent to your server you'll be presented with a thumbnail of the image and the choice to display the thumbnail, the full-size image, or just the filename. Below that you can decide whether the image links to the full-size image, a blog-page with the image on it, or nothing at all. After the appropriate radio buttons are selected, click "send to editor" and the appropriate code will be inserted in the edit box above, at the curser position. Hope that helps. I don't worry about mixing up colors. I've had people say things like, "EEEK!" when they see some of the things I've done, but if it makes me happy... I go for it. And maybe someone with less than perfect visual acuity (like my new governor) would like the bolder, wilder, crazier stuff. It's not about being an artist, Rudy. It's about laying out something that speaks to <i>you</i>. Go for it! Play with color! @Rudy… I don’t worry about mixing up colors. I use Flickr to host any photos I put on my blog by the way. It's a lot easier than messing about. Just use the medium size on flickr I think.
