Doesn’t this just scream “corona of the sun”? There are all kinds of sunny, bright, hot colors… and the white bits are sunspots and solar flares. Or could be, if you look at it the same way I do.

It’s interesting to look at these little watercolors after I’ve spent a week working considerably larger. These ACEOs are only 2.5″ x 3.5″… the three paintings I just completed are 16″ x 20″.
