My grandmother used to make lace doilies, and this reminds me of them. A little. Grandma's doilies didn't have grand colors like this, though. And because nothing ever looks like just one thing, I also have to share that this makes me think of a cross section of the intestines. Wouldn't you like to be inside my brain, where the juxtaposition of doilies and intestines seems normal?
