Night Field

One day, I decided to do weird things with my art supplies. (Oh wait. I do that a lot.) I took some canvas boards, and smeared gesso on them. Texture! Let’s hear it for texture! Then I took some of my watercolor paints and started painting the boards. Color!! And then, because all that was just too ordinary. I threw superfine glitter on some of them.

Ooooh, shiny. :)

That’s really interesting! I’ve been getting into painting again lately, and I find that I love texture as well. :)

If I look at it at a certain distance, I can see translucent mountains with the night sky behind. Never mind the coloured stars… :)

I never know what to post on artists’ blogs sometimes, except ooooh pretty and can that be a wallpaper?

Wow, I just love it when people see things in my art that I don’t see!

@Arachne… I actually had a bunch of fractals that I’d designed as wallpaper. And then the computer crashed. Like, the very day I made them. Was I seriously annoyed? Ya sure, hey, you betcha!
