Boulder Valley

Having lived in Denver for 10 years, I spent a fair amount of time up in Boulder.  In fact, I worked up there for about six months.  (I believe those where the Programming in Java days, not quite as exciting as the Programming in C/C++ days.)

The mountains are right there, which is only one of the things I love about the town.  The people are friendly, the Pearl Street Mall is a blast and, well, the mountains, people!  They’re RIGHT THERE.

Ah, I miss the Rockies.

There are a couple of weeks in January that are generally miserable, but most of the time it was acceptable to very, VERY nice. I figure mid-60s F in February is rather pleasant. I didn’t own any thermals or a winter jacket, for that matter, when I lived out there. The dryness helped, too.
