This is an earthy painting that reminds me of March. There’s the browns of the earth, the green of the newly budding plants and the blueish gray of ever-present snow. To me, this is March in Chicago… where I grew up.

I’m really hoping that Albany doesn’t look like this when March rolls in a few weeks from now. The snow is showing signs of sticking around until May.

Go away, snow. Go away!
