Small Abstract No. 25Oh, purple! You are the best color ever!

While all of these little watercolor paintings are for sale (well, the ones that haven’t already sold, that is), I very often have the urge to hoard the purple ones (and the rainbow ones) all for myself.

Speaking of rainbow paintings… I’m going to donate some paintings to Capital Pride Singers to auction off at our spring concert. If you’re in Albany, you’ll want to come bid. You could go home with an original painting. And you’ll definitely enjoy a concert of fun choral music!

(Yes, the header for the CPS website is one of my rainbow paintings.  That’s because I redesigned the website for them.  I feel oh so strongly about the CPS mission, and like doing nice things for them.)

    This makes me think of the purple hard-shelled Easter candy that comes in the shape of an egg. It’s shiny on the outside and kind of crumbly chewy on the inside. They’re not all that tasty, but they are beautiful to look at.
