When I create things that could almost be a landscape if the colors weren’t so peculiar, I tend to claim they’re landscapes of alien planets. I suppose this is what happens when one is exposed to science fiction at a very young age. I watched the original Star Trek series when it was shiny and new, read Stranger in a Strange Land shortly thereafter, and have been a science fiction junkie since then.
