Your collages are wonderful…I’ve always enjoyed collage art!
Heather’s last blog post..“Birthstone of the Month” Emerald
Thanks, Heather! For the longest time, I thought I couldn’t do collage. About a year ago, something just “clicked” and I got it! LOL
I have always wanted to try collage myself but it is SO intimidating for me! Your work is beautiful and I love the colors on this one.
FunkyFolky’s last blog post..Nikkii’s Mermaid in Progress
@Funky… what got me past that intimidation stage was realizing that collage is anything but perfect, and that if I was trying to make it perfect, I was doing it all wrong. LOL Just grab a bunch of interesting papers… magazines, wrapping paper, scrapbook papers… tear ’em up into bite-sized pieces, and start gluing them to a piece of cardstock. Start small! Go with the ATC size… or 4×6 at most.
Hmmmm. Maybe I have a future as a collage trainer. hee hee
Well, cutting down to two posts on your main page made a big difference in the speed of things. Too bad you had to resort to that.
Beamer’s last blog post..A fence Railing
@Beamer… I’ve always had four posts showing per page, so no changes made there. I just had a day of Photoshop fun to cut down on the size of the images. I’m hoping that will be enough going forward.
