Fire Dance

This is another small encaustic, matted and framed and ready to hang.  I did this at the same time I did Mars.

In addition to the fairly obvious fire dancing around in the sky, there’s someone in an asbestos suit dancing down in the lower right corner.  He might be line dancing… the Electric Slide would be a good one.  Because, after all, if I was hanging out on an alien planet where there were great fountains of flames shooting up into the sky, and I was wearing one of those oh-so-fashionable asbestos fire suits, I’m sure I’d be line dancing.

Ok.  Maybe not.
