My painting has now grown to 72″ x 96″.  It’s an organic thing that’s relentless in its need to grow.
Last night we our free evening from painting, so I went to the Kirtan session.  Kirtan is Sanskrit chanting.  It is wicked cool!

Observation of the day: Although I have never abandoned my spirituality — an ever-changing and wonderful thing — I realized I miss the connection with a spiritual community.  Or perhaps, this is the first time I’ve ever noticed wanting such a connection.

I didn’t mention that we’ll be working on ONE single painting all week.  I have never done this before… I paint what I paint, all in one session.  Then it’s done.  So, new experiences.  And honestly, I see the point of it… but I’m feeling like I have ADD.  Oooh, shiny.
