That is SO creepy!
SO CREEPY!
Wow that is very intriguing, I like… it’s like the stone or whatever it is is dripping tears or blood.
redbeard76′s last blog post… Storming the Fort
The more I look at this, the more I notice the eye. Creepy indeed. Is the color more vibrant when you see this piece in real life?
haleyhughes’s last blog post… Tea* Cup meme
I have this particular painting at work right now. One coworker sees a bunch of dolphins, which I’m not seeing. Yet. I do see the bird’s beak that someone else mentioned.
@Monique… Well, I posted it for you. You wanted something you didn’t have to say, “I love it” about, didn’t you? Creepy is good. LOL
@Redbeard… Encaustics are the coolest thing ever! I have wild alien landscapes, too. Fortunately, most of it is much more cheerful.
@Haley… Oh, yes. Definitely more brilliant in real life.
it looks like something that might be seen under an electron microscope…and sorry to say, I love it, but I do…not creepy to me at all…yet another amazing, yet to be seen landscape…
amy lilley’s last blog post… Wordless Wednesday
I think it’s absolutely mesmerizing! It looks to mee like someone looking through a wall in an ice cave – can’t think of why the ice would be green but that’s what it looks like to me.
I really like it!! LOL even though everyone’s saying it’s creepy!
@Amy… Oooh, yes! Encaustics can look like little microscopic worlds, too.
@Fragileheart… Let’s see, whoever it is that’s looking through the ice wall has a green like. Oh! I know! It’s the Green Lantern! (I don’t think it’s creepy either. To me it looks a little sad.)
Yeah, a little sad… melancholy if you will. Any chance you’re going to put this in Etsy?
Hmmm. I don’t know. I haven’t tried selling any of the encaustics on Etsy. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl and see what happens.
